"Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfector of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God." ~Hebrews 12:2

MYF this last Sunday, we played a fun game where pudding was eaten through pantyhose. Fun to watch. We also talked about what it means to have a lifestyle of worship....we reflect on God's love, respond to God's challenges and receive God's blessings. We also discussed how God wants all of us, He is not satisfied with us being lukewarm in our relationship with Him.

MYF Last Night -- God's mercy is the power that we need to have a changed life. We need to make asking for mercy and forgiveness a priority. Remember the story Jesus told about the Pharisee and the tax collector...we are to be like the tax collector in his prayer. We realize that we are sinners and that we desperately need God's mercy. Here is the video we watched last night, which person are we to be like....Tim or Josh?

5 Churches + 20 Students + 30 Hours = 4 Children Fed for a Year I am very proud of all of you that participated in this event. Remember what Jesus said, "Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me. Whatever you did to the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me." (Matthew 25:34-40)

Here is what happens to someone who hasn't eaten in 30 Hours....
